BEAUTIFUL CUT PAPER DESIGNS AND PATTERNS

Paris-based designer and artist Maud Vantours uses layer upon layer of cut paper to create hypnotizing patterns and textures that translate into set designs, fashion accessories, and editorial treatments.

The technique is using papers, colors, and a lot of creativity. Combining it all to create patterns, shapes, designs, objects or anything your imagination tells you.

Fold, cut, combine, paste, layer, connect or just simple do it for fun.

Try it too. Get any paper (any kind), scissors, paste, pattern or ruler to guide you. then start cutting by using same pattern or shape in different sizes to layer it by layer. plan the color combination and texture. add a twist and just put it all together.

One technique is either use same color or monochromatic, if not, explore on colors, combine two or more colors, you can also use shading... dark to light colored papers.

Use objects... or abstract patterns. Let your imagination run.
